I’m Ann Mory Wydeven, a mosaic artist and educator with over 30 years of experience, dedicated to creating art that tells stories and connects with the natural and cultural world around us. My journey began with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Master of Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design, and it has taken me into classrooms, public art projects, and collaborations across communities. Through my work at AMW Sculpture Studio, I embrace folk traditions and natural textures to craft pieces that honor history, celebrate diversity, and bring a sense of meaning to everyday life. Supporting emerging artists and engaging with my community are central to my practice, and I’m passionate about creating art that resonates with people and reflects the rich tapestry of human experience.
